Multispreader 8 and 10 tonne

The Hunton Legg 8 and 10 tonne Multispreaders (formerly manufactured by Dowdeswell (Norfolk) Ltd are all purpose manure spreaders suitable for tractors delivering from 80HP at the PTO. The machines are fitted with a single auger, a stone trap access point and the ‘patented’ hydraulic anti-bridge devise. A fully protected (shearbolt) drive system is capable  of spreading slurry up to 20m(65ft), through a hydraulically operated vertically sliding door which is fitted behind the expeller, with a slurry tray underneath.

Multispreader 14 tonne

.

The Hunton Legg 14 tonne is a high capacity Spreader, designed for liquid material or solid farm yard manure, suitable for tractors from 120hp. The innovative, steeply sloping sides help ensure complete empting of the hopper.

The twin augers ensures breakdown and mixing of all types of manure. The right hand auger operate at twice the speed of the left hand auger to produce a churning, boiling action within the chamber, this simultaneously forces the material towards the discharge expeller located on the off-side of the machine, fitted with hydraulically operated vertical door and slurry tray. A stone trap access helps with the removal of large objects and drive line is fully protected by shear bolts.

Following Hunton Legg's purchase of the stock of Rotaspreader parts we are able to offer 'Genuine' replacement components dating back to the original 1960s produced Howard Rotaspreader. Our works are now manufacturing and selling the Rotary Spreaders formerly made by Howard. The Rotary Spreader is still painted in its distinctive orange livery and has a 5 model range.
